Project– AI for Inflammation and Therapeutic Target Discovery in Type 2 Diabetes
This project will apply AI to unravel the complex inflammatory pathways driving Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) and its complications, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets. By integrating multi-omic datasets — including transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics — from patient cohorts and experimental models, the research will reveal critical molecular drivers of metabolic inflammation. Machine learning will be used to map these pathways, highlight key intervention points, and prioritise drug targets. Collaborations with pharmaceutical partners and Helmholtz Munich will facilitate preclinical validation and clinical translation.
Call for Partnerships:
We welcome partnerships with universities, health services, primary care networks, technology providers, government agencies, and community health organisations to provide data access, clinical expertise, digital health capacity, and co-funding for large-scale trials.
