The Australian Graduate Industry Research School (AGIRS) is the parent institution of ExpertGate – Australia’s Global Research & Innovation Hub.
We work with all Australian universities, industry, government, and international partners in one collaborative hub, delivering research and innovation that address Australia’s priorities and global social needs.
ExpertGate extends this mission worldwide. By tackling a key challenge for researchers and institutions — connecting the right partners, forming diverse teams, and navigating complex funding systems — ExpertGate creates a single platform where Australia’s research strengths link seamlessly with international opportunities. This approach strengthens Australia’s position as a global leader in innovation, while delivering outcomes across health, climate, technology, education, and beyond.
As an NHMRC-approved administering institution, AGIRS operates with the highest standards of governance, ethics, and compliance. Our initiatives directly support Australia’s national research priorities, including health and medical research, defence, climate resilience, advanced manufacturing, digital technologies, and Indigenous-led initiatives.
We are equally committed to social responsibility. By reinvesting 50% of our profits into education and inclusive research initiatives, AGIRS ensures that innovation delivers broad community benefit — a model that aligns with the Australian Government’s vision of research as a driver of national prosperity and global impact.
