I am Professor/Dr. ABDUL QUAIYUM ANSARI, a dedicated academic and researcher with over 30 years of experience of teaching and research in engineering education. I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Hierarchical Fuzzy Control for Industrial Automation) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, where I focused my research on soft computing and its application in industrial control leading to sustainable engineering practices.
My key areas of expertise include: High Performance Power Semiconductor Devices, Soft Computing, Analog and Digital Communication Systems, Data Communication and Computer Networks, Data and Network Security, Engineering Education Management, etc. My research interests include: HEMT Devices and Biomedical Instrumentation.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry. I have successfully collaborated with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, IIIT Delhi, IIT Delhi to develop practical solutions that address real-world challenges. My work has led to around 250 publications including around 100 peer reviewed journal publications, several awards and a couple of research projects
As a passionate academic, I have taught a diverse range of courses, including Communication Protocols, Mathematical Modeling and Simulation, Digital Communication, Data Communication and Computer Networks, Analog and Digital Communication, Communication Systems, etc. I believe in fostering an interactive learning environment where students can engage critically with the material. My teaching philosophy emphasizes on interactive sessions, experiential learning, collaborative projects, critical thinking and flip classrooms. I have also provided training to the industry personnel in the specific area of Data Communication and Computer Networks.
I am particularly excited about ExpertGate’s mission to reinvest 50% of its profits into educational programs for underprivileged communities. This aligns with my commitment to social impact and ensuring that knowledge is accessible to all. I am keen on offering my expertise as a consultant and supervisor for impactful projects, and I look forward to leading course to share my knowledge with a global audience.
