About
I am Dr. Fadhil Syukri, a dedicated aquaculturist with a specialization in fish breeding and genetics. Since 2005, I have been actively engaged in aquaculture, and currently serve as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Universiti Putra Malaysia. My research primarily focuses on enhancing productivity in fish farming and promoting sustainable aquaculture practices.
With over a decade of experience, I have worked on breeding and rearing various fish species, including seabass and carp. A significant part of my research has been dedicated to developing alternative microdiets, such as FS Feed, aimed at improving larval survival rates while reducing hatchery expenses.
Additionally, I have expanded my expertise to include aquaculture wastewater management, after undergoing extensive training and collaborating with Japanese experts. I have collaborated with leading institutions like Tokyo Institute of Technology, and I am a recognized environmental specialist, certified by the Ministry of Environment Malaysia (MyCEP: CEP-SS0582).
Throughout my career, I have led several high-impact research projects and received numerous accolades, including awards for innovations in aquaculture technology. I am also involved in industry consultations, international collaborations, and the commercialization of aquaculture products.
I provide services including aquaculture waste management, hatchery and feed management, training, and sustainable aquaculture planning.
