Mahtab Uddin is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Institute of Natural Sciences at United International University. He received his B.Sc. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh. He pursued an M.Phil. degree in Mathematics from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The research interests of Mahtab Uddin consist of modelling the systems and related topics of control theory, applications of numerical linear algebra, model-order reduction techniques, computational analysis of the behaviors of the systems arising from large-scale engineering applications, and statistical analysis of public health issues. His research involves computer-aided simulation tools to implement feasible algorithms for solving large-scale matrix equations in control system analysis and related applications. He has 11 years of teaching experience at the University level and 13 years of total teaching experience. He is the author of about 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations.
