I am Aruneem Mazumder, with over 15 years of experience, including leadership roles such as Chief Sustainability Officer at DIRD Group and CEO at NERGY Bangladesh (https://nergybd.com/) and many more. Having pursued my higher studies abroad as a scholar (Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India & Diversity Scholarship, UK), academically I bag knowledge from both Engineering and Business. As a creative and enthusiastic person, I have developed a wide range of skills working across diverse industries, including communication, decision-making, strategic and project management. I have a track record of visionary leadership and leading business efforts as a Business Head. My ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders has led to numerous successful partnerships. My credentials have been assessed by World Education Services (WES) and Engineers Australia.
I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of Energy, Sustainability & ESG. And I have been responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy and waste management project as a Prosumer, which has given me a deep understanding of this sector. I have strong desire for the environment and people hence want to do something for the country as well as for the global society from the sustainability perspective. I am happy to share that in September 2016, I was awarded internationally by The Association of Energy Engineers, USA (a non-profit organization) for dedication and performance in Sustainable Energy Management. In the event, I was also recognized as “Legend in Energy”. The award was given at the 39th World Energy Engineering Congress in Washington, DC (where the then US Secretary of Energy, Dr. Ernest Moniz was also present to encourage and grace the event).
