Dr. R. Hafeez Basha exemplifies academic leadership and innovation, currently serving as Associate Vice Chancellor, University of Emerging Technologies, California, USA and CEO - Ashoka School of Business. He is also Advisor at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) under the Institution of Engineers (IE-India) and a former CEO of Technology Business Incubators at both Osmania University and Chandigarh University. He is widely recognized for championing the integration of startups and incubators within educational institutions to cultivate a nurturing environment, mentorship and resources for empowering students, faculty and alumni to become entrepreneurs. He was awarded the prestigious ‘Monbukagakusho Scholarship’ by the Government of Japan to pursue his Ph. D at Kumamoto University where he also received ‘Dean’s Award for Research Excellence’ at his convocation.
