As a Ph.D. Biochemist, Biomedical Scientist, I launched All Things Bugs LLC in 2011 and Invertebrate Studies Institute in 2018. I am a self-taught Entomologist with a life-long passion for insects and the natural world. My experiences make me uniquely qualified to lead these endeavors. As a world leader in the field, I published the foundational reference textbook, "Insects as Sustainable Food Ingredients".
All Things Bugs LLC, founded in 2011, is the world’s leading innovator in insects as a sustainable bioresource and the world’s first wholesaler of insect-based food ingredients. We are focused on developing sustainable eco-friendly technologies from insects to improve food security and health. Our research includes cutting-edge technologies in insect farming, genetic engineering, food product development, manufacturing and processing. The company has patented technology for GrioPro™ cricket powder, insect farming and other products.
We have received $4M+ in research funding from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DARPA, USDA and OCAST.

Invertebrate Studies Institute (ISI) in 2018, a 501 (c) 3
ISI’s mission is to inspire appreciation for and conservation of the natural world through invertebrate-focused research, education, outreach, and entertainment activities.
ISI strongly believes that if the public of all ages can be exposed to the wonders of invertebrates and a truly comprehensive picture of earth’s interconnected biodiversity, people will be inspired and motivated to push for strong, robust, and long-lasting measures to restore and protect our natural world.

Think ‘Jurassic Park of Bugs’! The crown jewel of ISI will be the world’s largest Biodome and Insect Zoo attached to a world-class Research Institute focused on drug discovery and genomics - where the magic happens!
