I am Prof. Dr. Eling Felix, an accomplished academic, public health expert, and development consultant with a robust interdisciplinary background spanning over 7 years. I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Science, Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Gulu University. I was also conferred an Honorary Professorship by Graham International University (GIU) in recognition of my academic, research, and community impact.
My key areas of expertise include: Public Health, Healthcare Management, Biostatistics, Research Methods, Strategic Planning, Human Resource Management, Project Design and Implementation, Human Rights Advocacy, Inclusive Education, Leadership and Governance, Monitoring and Evaluation, and AI in Education and Health.
My diverse research interests include: Artificial Intelligence and its sectoral integration, Public Health, Emerging Technologies, STEM, Advocacy and Inclusion of Disenfranchised Groups, Human Rights and Social Justice, Mental Health, Food Security and Nutritional Resilience, Education Systems, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, and Engineering Innovations.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the nexus of academia, research, and field-based development. I have successfully led and supported impactful initiatives through institutions such as the East African Institute of Medical and Business Studies, the Sound of Silence Africa Initiative, and the Uganda Bureau of Statistics. My roles have ranged from departmental head to project manager, research coordinator, and university lecturer. I currently serve as a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science (IJRISS) and have authored multiple scholarly articles and policy-oriented papers.
As a passionate academic, I have taught courses in Microbiology, Biostatistics, Anatomy and Physiology, Research Methods, Strategic Management, and Health Care Systems. My teaching philosophy is grounded in experiential learning, critical inquiry, and equipping learners with practical, real-world skills.
In addition to my academic and research work, I am a published author of two poetry collections—Romantic Poems: Love and Romance and Inspirational Poems—both of which explore the depths of human emotion, resilience, and hope.
